Intern – Operational Material Management - Colorado Springs, CO - Summer 2024Use your skills and experience in a challenging environment in order to shape our global supply chain organization in the field of Operational Material Management (OMM). Philips OMM is a high paced, dynamic organization that is responsible for getting the right parts to the right place at the right time.Interns will develop expertise in coordinating non-conforming materials processes, conducting root cause analyses for material shortages, optimizing reverse logistics, and enhancing work order and cycle count planning skills. This role provides hands-on experience in field service materials planning and past-due purchase order analysis, fostering a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management and problem-solving.Your role:Specific duties include, but may not be limited to:
Field service materials planning
Coordination of non-conforming materials processes
Material shortage root cause analysis
Assist the planning department with work order management
Assist cycle count planning
Reverse logistics optimization
Past-due purchase order analysis
You're the right fit if:
Minimum 2 years complete towards a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Technology are preferred. Business Administration, Operations Management, or similar majors are acceptable.
3.0 minimum GPA preferred
Proficiency in MS Excel
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
Excellent communication skills
