Legal Assistant/Office Manager

We are a small estate planning law firm in Palo Alto. We are looking for an office manager who will also have front desk responsibilities. Candidate should be a fun, friendly person who can enhance the office environment and anticipate what needs to be done. We are a fast-paced office and no two days will be the same.
Responsibilities Include:
Greet clients and answer phones
Draft correspondences, legal documents and fill out legal/state/federal forms
Management of files, including organizing and handling of physical and electronic documents and files
Handle inbound and outbound mail and packages
Maintain office supplies and keep office stocked and running (ordering supplies when necessary)
Skills and Requirements:
Knowledgeable on the computer with experience in Microsoft office
Quickbooks or some basic bookkeeping skills would be helpful (but not required)
Proficient in English grammar to be able to draft, edit, and proofread letters and documents
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be organized and able to prioritize competing projects
Ability to multi-task
Must be a self-starter who can work well independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail
Punctuality
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent (Associates degree helpful but not necessary)
Prior experience in office setting (prior law office experience helpful but not required)
Notary license (or willingness to take Notary exam to become a Notary)
