Location: Remote or In-Office (California)

Employment Type: Project-based with potential for full-time after 90 days

Role Overview:

As an experienced Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our litigation efforts through comprehensive research, high-quality legal writing, and adept handling of various tasks within the California Superior Courts system. You will also have the opportunity to shape the firm's operations to help in our endeavor to create a team that is greater than the sum of its parts. This position is ideal for a driven individual who is looking to leverage their litigation experience and skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and draft legal documents with precision and clarity.

Manage and organize case files, documents, and evidence.

Liaise with clients, attorneys, and court officials as required.

Prepare for and assist with trial proceedings, including managing exhibits and other trial preparation tasks.

Extensive knowledge and experience with California Superior Courts procedures and requirements.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of civil litigation firm experience.

Strong research and writing skills are imperative.

Extensive knowledge of California Superior Courts.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, Adobe Acrobat, and familiar with at least one law practice management software.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
