I am looking for a litigation/family law paralegal to assist with assignments/projects that include drafting complaints, petitions, responses; discovery shells; legal and investigative research; preparing and responding to discovery; writing meet and confer correspondence, motions, RFO declarations and mediation/trial briefs; and preparing PDD's, judgment packets, and JC forms. The good news is that you would not be responsible for answering phones, calendaring, and/or client interaction.
I would like to start off on a part-time, contract basis to see if we are a good fit and then work out a longer term plan that works for us both. This position would be 100% remote, although I would want to meet via Teams/Zoom and communicate frequently enough to make sure we are on the same page with workflow and impending deadlines.
Experience would be great, but I am also willing to train the right person from the ground up as long as they have completed or are completing a paralegal program. If you are experienced/working and looking for a side-gig that would work too, since you would be making your own hours.
Pay is based on experience. And of course all submissions are 100% confidential.
