Job Summary The Server is responsible for establishing brand loyalty by consistently delivering exceptional guest service. The ideal server is a team player with a positive attitude who is passionate about making guests feel at home in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Welcome guests to restaurant and introduce menu offerings.
Maintain knowledge of menu ingredients and communicate food allergies to kitchen staff.
Take food and drink orders accurately using POS system.
Upsell menu offerings whenever possible.
Engage with guests in a friendly manner and ensure they are enjoying a pleasant dining experience.
Take initiative to correct any mistakes or unsatisfactory guest experiences.
Accurately present guests checks and process payment in a timely manner.
Deliver food to tables and assist in additional tasks wherever needed.
Complete side work and other projects assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:
1 year of experience as a Server in a full service, fast paced restaurant
Excellent customer service skills (friendly, relaxing demeanor, courteousness and quick service)
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and be a team player
Ability to multi-task under pressure
Great communication skills
Prerequisites for Employment:
Valid California ServSafe Food Handler Certification
Valid Responsible Beverage Service Certification
