We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Daycare Helper/Assistant Teacher to join our team. This entry-level position is responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 18 months to 5 years old.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage with children in age-appropriate activities, including play, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
Assist with diaper changing, feeding, and other daily care routines
Maintain a clean and safe environment, including sanitizing toys, equipment, and common areas
Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation
Observe and report on children's development and progress
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, ECE background preferred
Ability to work with children ages 18 months to 5 years old
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
First aid and CPR certification required
Experience in a childcare setting is a plus
