Tender Hearts Christian Daycare is a fun environment if you like working with little children.
Jobs and responsibilities are indicated below
Maintain a safe play environment.
Dress children and change diapers.
Observe and monitor children's play activities.
Communicate with children's parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors and related issues
Sanitize toys and play equipment
Keep records on individual children including 15 minute time checks for sleeping infants
Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts
Identify signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring them to parents' or guardians' attention.
Assist in preparing food and serving meals and refreshments to children.
Instruct children in health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet habits.
Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas.
Read to children and teach them simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs.
Discipline children and recommend or initiate other measures to control behavior, such as caring for own clothing and picking up toys and books.
Regulate children's rest periods
Perform housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, dish washing, and changing of linens.
Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas.
Participate in recreational activities and outings, such as games and field trip to local park.
Employee expectations
Be punctual and show up on time to work Monday to Friday 8 am to 2 pm.
Have reliable mode to commute the daycare.
If there is a need to call off work, the employee will do so the day before.
When a day is taken off for employee being sick or vacation days, they will not be paid for that day
The first three months of will be a probationary period to determine if the employee is a good fit or not and decision for permanent employment
THCD reserves the right to terminate volunteer ship at any given point with verbal notice should any concerns arise in regards to performance
If vacation time is needed, a notice is required a month in advance.
