Job Overview:
As our Bar Manager, you’ll be the heart and soul of our bar operations. You’ll oversee the daily flow of the bar, lead a dedicated team of bartenders, and ensure every guest enjoys exceptional service in a welcoming, creative space. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves working with others, and is passionate about raising the bar (pun intended) on both drinks and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Inspire: Train, and mentor a team of bartenders and bar staff, creating an environment of collaboration, growth, and fun.
Enhance the Experience: Provide top-tier customer service, engaging with guests and ensuring their time at Press Club is memorable and enjoyable.
Curate the Menu: Collaborate on developing and refreshing our drink menu, crafting cocktails that are as creative and unique as the music we host.
Manage Inventory: Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring the bar is stocked with high-quality ingredients for a seamless operation.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all health, safety, and legal regulations are followed, creating a safe space for both guests and staff.
Community Engagement: Represent Press Club with enthusiasm and energy, building relationships with our local arts community and bringing that spirit into everything you do.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry.
A passion for craft cocktails, local spirits, and unique drink offerings.
Strong leadership skills and a natural ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Experience in inventory management, budget control, and cost optimization.
A deep understanding of health, safety, and local alcohol laws.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment with a focus on building relationships.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
