As Brickyard in El Dorado Hills grows in size and business we are looking for an Assistant General Manager to help lead our amazing team. At Brickyard there is a small town community feel, from the staff that has been with us for years to our loyal customers and familiar faces we see regularly. This Assistant General Manager will be a thoughtful leader, confident decision maker, match our energy in the workplace, bond with our clientele, ensure customer service is satisfactory, help formulate restaurant strategy & order, contribute to our team moral and have an eye for what contributes to the restaurants overall success.
Responsibilities are including but not limited to:
Ensure customer satisfaction is met by leading FOH staff, touching tables, responding to customer complaints efficiently
Lead our FOH staff by example by performing all duties in FOH
Ensure employees are working productively
Appraise staff for performance and provide feedback
Oversee daily restaurant operations
Ensure compliance with ABC and health codes
Help implement training procedures for hires
Always look for ways to improve the restaurants success
Requirements
5 years experience in fast paced restaurant
Open availability
Self motivated
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent leadership skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Ability to multi task
General knowledge of all operations in a restaurant including expo and kitchen procedures
Knowledge of Toast POS is a plus
Knowledge of MAC and numbers is a plus
