Currently seeking an admin assistant to help various departments withing the organization. Position is full-time, opportunity for growth with an stable company.
Duties:
- Scanning, copying, printing, assisting with meetings, company events, preparation of meetings, etc.
- Preparation of reports using MS Excel
- Assist with expenditure approvals from outside management companies and Asset managers
- Answer phone calls and emails; handle incoming and outgoing communications
- Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for colleagues
- Maintain accurate records of documents received and sent out, file documents (hard and soft copies)
- Be the liaison between team members and outside vendors/clients
- Consistently follow up on projects, tasks, or deadlines, as needed
- Perform other functions as may be required by the job or as directed by management
Experience and Skills:
- Computer skills/knowledge- Internet usage, MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Knowledge of Yardi is a plus (but not necessary)
- Ability to type 45 WPM
- Organized and detail oriented in their day to day tasks
- Proficient in time management, multitasking, and prioritizing tasks as needed
- Solution-driven and possess a good, professional attitude
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
- Ability to work on various project, think outside the box, utilize resources, with the end goal in mind
- Can take on constructive criticism, learn, thrive, and focus on her/his personal growth
- Provide solutions/options to things they see can be improved
Requirements:
- GED or High School Diploma and at least 2 years of college
- Able to work M-F, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; schedule may be subject to change.
- Some weekend and holiday availability required.
- Must work out of the office, this is NOT a remote or hybrid position.
Compensation:
- $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience
