We are looking for a Junior Legal Secretary to join our small boutique firm, Lurie & Associates, located in West Los Angeles. Specializing in real estate and business litigation, we offer a generous compensation for the right candidate. The position requires in-office availability Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Position Requirements:
- Friendly, professional demeanor and strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities
- Comfortable working fully on-site (no remote or hybrid work)
- Ability to work well with a team and interact with clients
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and manage client interactions
- Answer intake calls and assist in setting up potential consultations
- Maintain an organized and professional office environment
- Answer phone calls and manage office correspondence
- File legal documents and type legal correspondence
- Schedule appointments, manage company calendars, litigation calendaring
- Perform occasional office maintenance, including light dishwashing and space upkeep
- Support attorneys as needed and ensure the office is kept tidy and organized
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe and Excel, with social media experience being a plus.
