$19.00 per hour + tips + performance bonuses
You will be trained and held to a high standard. We are not Jamba Juice, and certainly not the corporate Starbucks type, so expect to be a part of a family who wants to do good things for our community while keeping quality of our products high.
You must have:
-Leadership skills, and a natural strength in managing and leading others with compassion. As a shift lead, you would be managing team members on your shift. graceful and strong leadership skills are a necessity.
-A fast pace and grounded energy. You will be working in a kitchen setting that sometimes requires a fast pace, and always requires a grounded energy to get the orders out in time and keep order in the shop and with your staff.
-The desire to be in a dynamic role. Sometimes your shift will be straight forward, and sometimes we will need you to take on new or various tasks. As we grow and evolve, so will your role.
-Attention to detail. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and what they output. We are not looking for robots to pump out mundane orders (this isn't a corporate chain), but rather drinks that you take pride in creating. You will be setting the standard for your staff.
-Organized in the way you work. At our shop, this looks like systems and processes that you would like to contribute to every part of your responsibility in the shop which help the shop run more smoothly.
-Be a clear and a patient communicator. As a Shift Lead, communication is 100% key to the success of your role.
-Be willing to take ownership of tasks, and be proactive in doing tasks without needing to be asked by someone else. Take initiative and ownership of your role and what you are here to contribute.
-Be genuinely interested in bringing joy and great service to others, and take it upon yourself to make each customer's experience better. we are looking for a natural “people-person” at heart.
-At least 1 year barista, juice bar, or bartender experience. Previous kitchen experience is mandatory for this position.
-At least 1 year managing or supervising people or a team in any context.
AVAILABILITY:
-We are looking for someone who is available between 15 to 37 hours per week with flexibility of schedule in the first month while you are in your trial period as you are being trained. We will need a couple of weeks with you as we determine the best on-going schedule for you.
-Holiday availability preferred
