Seeking an experienced full charge bookkeeper (approximately 20-25 hrs per week) whose responsibilities include:
Process payables, receivables, maintain general ledger in Quickbooks
Reconcile monthly bank and brokerage statements, record gains and losses
Prepare monthly cash balance, quarterly financial statements and cash flow projection, and variance analysis reports
Assist CPA in compilation of individual annual tax document and data entry in Lacerte tax software
Other special bookkeeping projects
Part-Time hourly, 9am-4pm (with 30 min unpaid lunch break) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and sometimes Fridays, either as part-time employee or independent contractor.
The ideal candidate has:
Completed several courses in Accounting; Accounting Degree preferred
Minimum 7-10 years’ experience with bookkeeping and investment analysis
Proficient in Quickbooks, MS Excel and Word. Experience in Lacerte a plus.
Excellent math, analytical and conceptual skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organized and efficient
