Property Management company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records & ensuring accuracy in transactions. This role is crucial in supporting the financial health of the organization through meticulous record-keeping and reporting. Position hours are flexible. Candidate can work 4 to 8 hour shifts any time between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in our offices. This may be a 2nd job or for a student. We need 8 hours/week to start. Hours will increase as the candidate can prove his/her competence.

Duties
Utilize APPFOLIO and EXCEL to streamline accounting processes.
Maintain accurate financial records by recording all transactions in a timely manner.
Prepare and post journal entries to ensure proper accounting of financial data.
Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of Income Statements ( P&L) in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Support management with financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Skills
Proficiency in APPFOLIO and EXCEL( must).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately (must).
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with management.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
