People Technology is one of the major segments of Walmart Global Tech's Enterprise Business Services, which is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and the Associate Digital Experience.What you'll do: Hire, coach and lead a high performing software engineering team Collaborate with Product, UX and Business teams on roadmap development and prioritization. Develop architectural vision for your team's systems and services, collaborating with principal engineers in the organization. Drive the entire software lifecycle, from inception to launch, to deliver highquality products on time, on budget. Own your team's operational excellence, develop and drive plans forquality and operational improvements. Collaborate with multiple technology teams to ensure APIs and system interfaces are designed to meet the long term program goals. Create a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity, speed, innovation, and learning.What you'll bring: Have an entrepreneurial mindset that focuses on putting the customerfirst 3+ years of Software Development Management experience 7+ years of hands on software development experience Proven experience in hiring and mentoring world-class engineering teams Proven experience in launching high quality, high availability softwareproducts.
