Position SummaryWhat you'll doThe Senior Manager, Operations, Launch Operations - Autonomous Delivery is spearhead for NextGen delivery (drones and autonomous vehicles). Success in this role requires a solid UAV/drone and AV technical foundation and a relentless drive to make things happen. Walmart deploys real autonomous delivery services in the real world where challenges are unknowable until we attempt the initial installations; this person must have a strong desire and proven ability to execute across various teams and surface problems as early as possible. This role will work primarily with real estate, proto, strategy, energy, network, PR/Comms, government affairs, legal, finance, data, and the broader E2E delivery team. The role is based in Bentonville.You'll sweep us off our feet if

You will be an integral member of a team to identify and solve any problem that gets in the way of autonomous delivery launches.

Develop, manage, and facilitate the executive of complex launch project plans; identify and mitigate project risks and challenges, drive multiple work streams, and secure the necessary resources to enable seamless launch of new charging products and offerings.

You have established and maintained a strong reporting cadence, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication, presenting at the executive level.

Lead the management of the roadmap for new metro deployments in conjunction with definition from Strategy and Engineering teams, including targeted service area, onboarding, scaling, and operational targets.

You'll make an impact by

Strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions

Being a self-starter, entrepreneurial, organized and have an ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.

Negotiating terms of new agreements and extension of existing agreements; ensuring the company's interest are protected in coordination with procurement, legal and governmental affairs.

In addition to being an outstanding operations leader and communicator, the successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.

Organizing and coordinating critical events such as Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR). Preparing materials and agendas and provide leadership and guidance during crisis situations to ensure business continuity.

Having technical expertise in autonomation, AI and GenAI.

Develop tools and best practices for program launches on an ongoing basis

Managing the migration of standup responsibilities from the launch team to the permanent operations team

Contract management; reporting, tracking and compliance.

Reporting and tracking launch performance and other metrics, reporting to horizonal peers, cross-organizational partners, and executive stakeholders.
