Will be responsible for learning how to perform and execute production processes to manufacture machined parts. will learn how to properly deburr and run varying types of manufacturing equipment to produce a finished part. Hand finishing production and prototype parts by removing burrs, creating desired textures, and cleaning per the job requirements. Assist with general shop floor help, shop cleanup and organization, job prep by saw cutting materials and staging, operating numerical control (CNC) machining centers, shipping and receiving functions and some mechanical assembly.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for learning and executing production processes to manufacture small parts.
Work in a team environment and communicate effectively and efficiently.
Read and follow routers, work instructions, drawing and other relevant documents.
Deburr and hand-finish parts as required by specifications.
Basic operation of varying types of CNC machines to produce machined components.
Clean machined parts using parts washer and/or ultrasonic cleaner.
Perform Daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance.
Use precise measuring tools (i.e., calipers, micrometers, height gauge) to ensure machined parts meet drawing requirements.
Willing to continuously learn new technical information and techniques.

Report any and all discrepancies on the floor to the supervisor.
Comply with department ISO 9001 processes and company quality policy.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
Any Machine Shop experience is a plus.
Additional requirements:
Part time position is 2:00pm to 7:00 pm Monday-Friday consisting of a 25-hour work week
This position may require periodic overtime and weekend work during periods of high production and/or audit.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
