Mesa manufacturing company is looking for a motivated Shop Hand to perform general duties.
IMPORTANT – DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR BUSINESS, CANDIDATES CANNOT HAVE A FELONY RECORD
Duties and Responsibilities:
Debur machined parts
Operate basic hand tools and powered hand tools. i.e. Drills, Disc Grinders, etc.
o Operate equipment as described: Metal cutting saws, Belt Sanders, Material Handling Equipment
Handle materials – within the shop and outdoors as required
Perform housekeeping duties
Assisting machine operators or assembly line
Perform work safely and follow established work procedures
To not abuse equipment and report equipment that requires servicing or repair
Perform general tasks as assigned by Supervisor
Required Experience and Skills:
Must be punctual and possess a strong work ethic
Must have good mathematical skills
Must demonstrate attention to detail
Good command of the English language both verbal and written accompanied with good reading and interpretation skills
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Eligible candidates must have their own transportation and a current Class D Operators Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Desired Experience and Skills:
Prior deburring experience, a plus
Prior forklift experience, a plus
Additional Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED required
Must be able to pass Drug Test, if required

Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to climb 8’ft ladder to storage area
Able to stand for long periods of time
Compensation:
Range $14.00 per hr. up to $18.00 per hr. - Based on experience
Work Hours:
Monday – Thursday 7:00 – 5:00 pm
CANDIDATE MUST BE FLEXIBLE ABOUT HOURS.
Overtime may be required
