We are looking for an individual with experience in laminate countertops and people management to organize, lead, and oversee manufacturing, delivery, and installation.
You will ultimately be responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of the output. We expect you to have a deep know-how in laminate countertop production and installation.
Ability to direct personnel toward maximum performance and improve processes will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will be a major responsibility. You will be overseeing the Laminate Division, which includes builders and install crews.
Responsibilities:
Oversee measuring, ordering material, fabrication, quality control, staging, loading zone, delivery, and installation
Work closely with Relationship Managers to obtain job details and put together plans to execute jobs
Communicate with the Scheduling Manager regarding fabrication and installation timelines
Train and direct team members to fulfill their respective roles
See that the job is completed in a timely manner from start to finish
Be willing to fill in for team members and personally get the job done if necessary
Meet with contractors and homeowners to discuss design, electrical layout, and framing layouts
Scheduling installation and project completion dates
Organize final job walks
Experience:
5+ year working with laminate countertops REQUIRED
5+ full-time laminate countertop installation REQUIRED
5+ years working as a people manager
Field measuring and scheduling
Manage installers and shop workers to coordinate project completion schedules
Installation, fabrication and delivery experience
Manage a project from start to finish
