How this position supports the vision includes the following, but is not limited to:Lead, mentor, and manage Infrastructure Admin and Help Desk teams to achieve high levels of performance and professional growth Conduct regular team meetings and individual check-ins to ensure alignment with project goals and company objectives. Enforce team adherence to established expectations and hold team members accountable for:  Workflow processes and proceduresAccurate time tracking and work documentationTimely payroll submission and approvalTicket and on-call responsibilities Comprehensive technical documentation practicesSoftware and Infrastructure Development Lifecycle complianceConsistent application of infrastructure conventions and configurations.  Fait security, compliance, and privacy policies  Monitor team work logs, tasks, performance, and availability for new work    Review, approve, and assign work tasks to team Provide transparent status updates and reliable completion estimates for team projects to business stakeholders upon request. Conduct structured one-on-one meetings, thorough performance reviews, and personalized career development and configuration planning sessions. Review and approve time off requests and deviations from approved schedules. Review, approve, and manage both technical and end-user documentation to ensure accuracy and usability. Actively participate in roadmap planning and risk assessment processes to align technical initiatives with business objectives. Train and mentor new hires and interns when needed, facilitating smooth onboarding and skill development. Proactively identify staffing needs and secure necessary team resources, hires, and training opportunities. Participate in and provide feedback for hiring interviews Review and approve proposed tools, libraries, and frameworks for development and infrastructure projects. Review and approve best practices for software and infrastructure development lifecycle processes Review and approve team coding/scripting and configuration conventions and standards. Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams including Fait technology teams and external resources Lead infrastructure projects with teams of 2 or more Infrastructure Admins and/or Fait IT members when required. Apply advanced technical knowledge to analyze and resolve complex programming, configuration, and architecture challenges. Build and maintain relationships with external technology partners to develop innovative solutions. Create clear, user-friendly operating instructions and reference materials for diverse audiences. Actively participate in professional networks and technical communities to stay current with industry trends. Participate in on-call support after hours with team rotation.  Assist with additional tasks as requested by leadership. Provide timely updates to the CTO regarding team progress, concerns, and blockers as they arise. Have experience with or a strong aptitude to learn and master the skills below: Windows Server, Active Directory, and Workstation managementKubernetes (or equivalent) orchestration for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications across distributed infrastructure to ensure high availability and efficient resource utilizationCloud infrastructure and servicesDatabase management Linux server management Cisco switch management Hyper-V and VMware hypervisor managementSolid understanding of coding logic to reverse engineer BASH (Linux)/ Batch (Windows)/Python/other code and scripts to accomplish infrastructure administrative tasks.
