Treasury Accountant

Description We are in search of a diligent and meticulous Treasury Accountant to join our team based in Vancouver, Washington. This role revolves around the healthcare industry, where you will be responsible for managing cash activity and other related tasks. This role provides an excellent career opportunity for those seeking to expand their skills and experience in treasury operations.Responsibilities: Oversee cash activity, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed. Deliver regular reports on cash activity, providing detailed insights and analysis to support decision making. Work closely with other departments to maintain accurate and up-to-date cash flow forecasts. Implement and maintain effective internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the Controller and other team members to contribute to the overall financial strategy of the company. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Participate in financial audits, providing necessary information and addressing any queries related to cash activity. Continuously evaluate treasury operations and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and standards, ensuring the company's compliance. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is preferred. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial sector. Knowledge of treasury software expertise a plus. Advanced analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel. Strong understanding of cash flow mechanisms. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with cash activity and treasury operations. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. High attention to detail and accuracy. Capacity to adapt to new situations and learn quickly. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
