Staff Accountant

Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team located in Vancouver, Washington. The role involves performing a variety of accounting tasks including monthly financial close functions, reconciliation of general ledger accounts, and providing training to non-financial personnel on accounting procedures and financial statement review. Responsibilities Perform monthly financial close functions through the preparation of financial statements for each designated operating location. Carry out reconciliation of all general ledger accounts. Provide monthly narrative analysis of significant financial variances to budget and forecast. Conduct rate analysis and review. Facilitate effective ongoing communication of financial related information to business counterparts. Manage the flow of accounting data to/from remote facilities. Handle special projects as assigned. Take charge of city and county reporting. Calculate and submit monthly fees for various municipalities. Prepare monthly State of Washington Department of Revenue B& O Tax reporting. Manage Accounts Receivable.
