Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Vancouver, Washington. This role is within the manufacturing industry and will involve helping with accounting for a new acquisition and system migration. Responsibilities: Assist in the accounting processes for new acquisitions Work on the transition of recent acquisitions from existing systems to our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system Leverage your strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records Utilize your system migration experience and general system skills to smoothly transition accounting processes Work independently to manage various accounting tasks Use ERP software for managing various accounting functions Handle Month End Close procedures efficiently Conduct Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation to ensure accuracy Assist in System Implementation processes Facilitate Acquisition Integration and ensure smooth transition of accounting processes.Requirements Proficient in large ERP software Demonstrated ability in Month End Close procedures Experience with Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation Proven track record in System Implementation projects Familiarity with Acquisition Integration processes Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Detail-oriented and highly organized Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity Ability to handle sensitive, confidential informationRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
