OXARC has been providing welding and industrial supplies, as well as, medical and specialty gases since 1968. OXARC is headquartered in Spokane, Washington with 21 stores in WA, ID and OR.

Job Summary: Direct and supervise all activities of the store and warehouse. Implement all established Oxarc policies and procedures. Ensure customer needs are met through prompt and courteous service.

Duties include:

Ensure store counter is adequately staffed during business hours.

Maintain proper levels of inventory.

Ensure staff assists sales personnel whenever possible.

Ensure store and display/demonstration areas are arranged to maximize sales.

Train store personnel to ensure accuracy and completeness of invoices before transmitting to office for processing.

Plan, coordinate and/or conduct training needs of the branch.

Handle complex customer issues; assist/train store personnel in resolving customer complaints/issues.

Resolve all cash short and overages of store register and document all cash taken from the register for cash purchases, advances, etc.

Requirements include:

3-5 years industry experience preferred.

2-3 years management experience.

Strong leadership skills.

Ability to manage and motivate staff.

Must be organized, have good reasoning skills, and time management skills.

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet use.

Salary Range: The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $67,725-$85,000 annuallyDOE.

Paid time off includes 8 paid holidays per year, vacation is prorated based on hire date and employees are eligible to use vacation effective January after hire date, sick leave accrues at 1 hour for every 40 worked, jury duty (up to 30 days), and bereavement leave. Clothing wear out/allowance program. Voluntary benefit options include life, and AD&D insurance. Employees are eligible for most benefits on the first of the month following 90 days of employment. However, some benefits have different qualifying periods. Medical, dental, vision and prescription insurance is effective on the 90th day of employment.
