Seattle Samosa Farmers Market and/or Kitchen Staff
Job Type: Seasonal Part-Time Contract (option for full-time or long-term part-time employment)
Duration: May 2024-Nov 2024 (may vary depending on the market schedule)
Rate: Hourly or Base + Tips + Mileage reimbursement
$17-$23 an hour with tips; plus the perks of a flexible schedule and samosas & chai for personal consumption!
$140 a day + Tips + Mileage reimbursement
Open to increasing base or hourly based on performance!
Potential for full-time employment and development within the company!
Potential Sample Schedule(depends on which markets working): Tues-Friday 1:00pm-8:00pm; Saturday 7am-3pm
Positions Available: part-time about 20-30 hours; part-time 10-15 hours; Full time 40 hours a week
Our Market Staff is responsible for the following duties, including:
● Prep for the market in the kitchen
● Take Payments
● Operate the booth (with an experienced team member)
● Packing the products & supplies needed before/from the market location
● Vendor setup/breakdown, including setting up tent, table, banner signage, setting packing up unsold products,
● Be able to lift approx 30 lbs
● Farmer's Market experience preferred but not required
Qualifications:
-Must have a valid driver's license
-Any experience of farmers markets and/or events is preferred.
