We are seeking an experienced and responsible on-site resident manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a 25 unit apartment building in Edmonds. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the property, maintaining high occupancy rates, and providing exceptional customer service to tenants. The time commitment would be between 10-15 hours a week on average.
Responsibilities:
-Maintain the property's physical condition, including addressing repairs and maintenance issues in a timely manner
-Manage tenant move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals
-Ensure tenant compliance with lease agreements and community policies
-Respond to tenant inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
-Enforce building rules and regulations
-Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants and the community
-Manage vendor relationships
-Maintain accurate records of building activity and submit reports as required
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 2 years of property management experience (preferred, but will train)
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, G-suite, and property management software
-Basic Knowledge of landlord/tenant laws and fair housing regulations
-Available to work weekends and evenings as needed
-Ability to live on-site and respond to emergencies outside of regular business hours
Compensation:
This is a part-time onsite management position. You will be compensated $1,440 per month for Resident Manager duties with payment in the form of a rent reduction/credit. The available apartment is a wonderful 2 Bedroom unit valued at $2060 per month, thus your apartment rent will be only $620 per month. You will also receive $25 per hour for any work completed outside of normal resident management duties.
