The Position: We are seeking to fill a Senior Administrative Assistant position. We are looking for someone to perform advanced level secretarial and administrative duties, requiring independent judgement and analysis. For additional information on the job, please see the full posting.

The ideal candidate has:
Associate degree or relevant advanced high school certifications
o May substitute two years of directly related work experience for education requirement
Four years of increasingly responsible work experience in administrative support, including work with advanced technical software
Experience or familiarity with working in a maintenance or construction support role.
What will you do?
Serve as primary assistant to the administrator
Screen callers and visitors and provide information or direct to appropriate staff
Develop and assure timely communications between division staff and other SHA employees
Lead division efforts in assigned areas such as process improvement, reviewing operational activities, employee recognition, reporting requirements, and procedure development
Screen incoming mail and independently compose replies
Oversee timekeeping functions for the division and ensure the entry of appropriate payment and tracking codes
Research and analyze statistical data for federal, state, and other reports
Schedule meetings, conferences, trainings, and appointments
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of department budgets
Maintain personnel records and other department records
