OVERVIEW

A Supportive Community For All (SCFA) is a new 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a mission to create a more equitable Snoqualmie Valley by engaging, connecting, and supporting people and organizations to collaboratively build a community where all members can thrive. We center communities most impacted by inequities in the co-creation and implementation of strategies intended to address inequities in health, housing, financial opportunity, and community connection. We draw on collective impact and community power building frameworks. We practice equity leaderships skills in all areas of our work, acknowledging that the journey to a more equitable community is one that creates space to learn, make mistakes, repair, heal, and grow together.

As part of our overall strategy, A Supportive Community For All is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive services to individuals and families in the Snoqualmie Valley. We serve as the “hub” of the Snoqualmie Valley Referral and Navigation Program, a collaborative project of the Snoqualmie Valley Human Services Coalition, that provides centralized access to human services in the Snoqualmie Valley, ensuring that community members are connected to the resources they need. We are strengthening our “hub” role by launching a new case management program to augment the referral and navigation services we already provide.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Client Services Director to oversee our existing and new client services operations, supervise case management staff, and contribute to the development of community learning programs. This role is integral to ensuring the quality and compliance of our services, as well as supporting the administrative and financial functions of the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervision and Management:

Oversee and supervise the daily activities of 2+ case managers, providing guidance, support, and evaluating performance.

Partner with Executive Director to strengthen existing, and develop new, organizational policies and procedures to support effective case management and resource navigation within a uniquely collaborative regional ecosystem.

Ensure case managers adhere to organizational policies and procedures and deliver high-quality services to clients.

Facilitate team meetings to review caseloads, discuss challenges, and share best practices.

Program Development and Oversight:

Oversee development and implementation of a comprehensive learning program for 15+ organizations participating in the Snoqualmie Valley Human Services Coalition.

Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to continually identify learning needs, increase accessibility of existing learning opportunities, and create relevant training modules and workshops.

Provide training and technical assistance to our 15+ organizational partners to drive successful utilization of Julota, a cloud-based platform we use to support our collaborative work.

Evaluate the effectiveness of the learning program and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

Compliance:

Ensure that all client services and case management practices comply with HIPAA regulations and other relevant legal and ethical standards.

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and address any issues promptly.

Provide training and resources to staff on HIPAA compliance and best practices.

Community Engagement:

Drive community outreach to raise awareness and engage prospective clients, both online and in person, often in nontraditional areas such as food pantries, libraries, subsidized housing, or through other community connections.

Foster a culture and embed ongoing systems of interaction among staff and organizational partners that will nurture connections, strengthen relationships, and support cross-sector collaboration.

Represent A Supportive Community For All programs to the community, referral sources, and other parties, when appropriate.

Participate on community-based task forces, collaborations, or committees that support program success, raise awareness, and encourage utilization of A Supportive Community For All resources.

Administrative, Financial and Development Support:

Participate in writing and preparing grant applications.

Assist with administrative tasks, including report generation, data management, and correspondence.

Support financial tasks such as budgeting, expense tracking, and grant management.

Provide development and grant-writing support to enhance the organization's outreach and funding efforts.

Serve as the primary liaison with key program funders and vendors that support programs.

Participate in the development and implementation of organizational policies and procedures.

Perform other tasks as requested by the Executive Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

Minimum of five years of experience in a human services or nonprofit organization, with at least two years in a supervisory role.

Commitment to values of A Supportive Community For All – equity, collaboration, connection, and innovation.

Strong understanding of case management principles and practices.

Proven experience in program development and implementation.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience ensuring compliance.

Excellent organizational, administrative, and financial management skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with database management systems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Office environment – no specific or unusual demands

Frequent driving in the Snoqualmie Valley and occasionally the greater Seattle area

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Must provide current proof of insurance on personal vehicle at each renewal date

Available to attend meetings, functions, and events after normal business hours on occasion

COMPENSATION

This is a full-time, salaried contract position. Salary is $83,200 annually. Benefits include 100% of employee premiums for health insurance coverage, life insurance, generous paid leave policies (vacation, sick, personal, and bereavement leave), 12 paid holidays (plus 2 floating holidays), and a SIMPLE IRA with 3% match.
