Position: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Description:
Responsible for receiving daily deliveries, coordinating outbound shipments, product packing/making wooden crates, maintaining inventory, making local deliveries/pick-ups and maintaining the overall condition of the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
1. Receive and document all incoming equipment deliveries.
2. Coordinate outbound shipments by loading equipment on trucks using a Forklift.
3. Maintain an extremely well-organized warehouse with all equipment being in its assigned locations.
4. Manufacturing custom wooden crates. To this end one must be capable of using Table Saw, Hand Saw, Drill Gun, Band Saw and other power tools as required.
5. Make local deliveries and pick up supplies when needed.
6. Assist with the disassembly of equipment.
7. All duties must be performed in a workman-like fashion, paying close attention to detail. Must be capable of following detailed instructions when it relates to minor or major reorganizations of the warehouse.
8. Must possess the ability to work unassisted once trained,
Job Requirements:
1. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and able to manage and prioritize multiple activities and deadlines.
2. Must have a strong work ethic to ensure all products are properly documented.
3. Must be able to work with others when required.
4. Meet product shipping timelines.
5. Lifting weights up to 50 pounds regularly, with the potential for lifting weights of up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis.
6. Be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Test.
Qualifications:
Proficient in the use of power tools, in particular power saws.
Must be extremely well organized and be a very clean worker.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written format.
Must have a clean Driving License.
Forklift experience desired, or willingness to learn forklift operation.
Positive people with as “can do” attitude that like to work hard and have fun doing it.
