Qualitel is an Electronics Manufacturing Service (EMS) provider that specializes in high end, high reliability product applications. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises employees in manufacturing operations.

Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Involved with interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Prioritizes production based on production schedules, equipment efficiency, available labor, and materials supply.

Develops schedules and staffing requirements based on production guidelines/schedules.

Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and labor.

Train or coordinate training for employees as required for their job classification as well across-training and enhancing skills to prepare them for advancement.

Continually audit area of responsibility to ensure line setups & operations follow lean practices (including single piece flow & 5S).

Ensure all process specifications, product specifications, and quality standards are being met.

Ensure daily schedules are being met, and schedules are being properly updated.

Ensure tools and equipment are maintained, calibrated and in good working order.

Identify and replace rejected materials through established processes.

Analyze data to identify issues and improvement opportunities and enact changes or take appropriate action as required.

Work with management and Support Staff to solve issues and implement changes as required.

Maintain open communications with management and employees to ensure production schedules and quality goals are met.

Perform functions of job while promoting and maintaining positive employee and customer relations.

Maintain records as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; plus a minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A working understanding of quality system standards and regulations, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and 21CFR Part 820 requirements. A working understanding of AS9100 and AS9102 standards requirements. A working understanding of Corrective and Preventive Action systems (problem solving methodology, issue investigation, root cause analysis, solution implementation)

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, proportions to practical situations, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY: To solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee will frequently use hands for tasks like handling and reaching. Sitting, standing, and walking are regular requirements. Specific vision abilities include close, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and focus adjustment. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds may be necessary. The work environment generally has moderate noise levels.

BENEFITS:

Salary range: $70,000-$90,000 (DOE)

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
