Award-winning bakery & café is looking for a line cook with production experience in a professional kitchen. This job would require a schedule of Tuesday – Friday, with some weekend availability as well. We have a wonderful, fun, committed staff, who put their heart and soul into every item we make. Essential “ingredients” for qualified candidates include:
- To possess a natural ability & love for the art of cooking
- To be attentive to detail and to producing consistently high-quality products
- To be self-sufficient, well-organized, and extremely efficient
- To maintain a clean work environment, especially your station
- To have completed a minimum of 1 year in a restaurant kitchen as a cook, prepping ingredients as well as preparing food for service.
- To be proficient and able to handle strict time restraints to ensure all meals are served properly prepared and plated in a timely manner
Current position is full-time (approx. 32 hours) - you will have a prep schedule that needs to be done each day. The job would require a minimum schedule of Tues, Wed, Thurs & Fri 9:00a – 5:00p. Ideally the position would also include helping customers, running food to tables, bussing tables, and dishwashing – we all help with whatever is needed to run the café as best as possible. This requires an extremely responsible, trustworthy individual who has the utmost respect for producing consistently excellent food and providing exceptional customer service.
