We are a mid-size cafe in Olde Town Issaquah looking for an outstanding barista to join our team!
We are looking for a part-time barista, Friday through Sunday, 9 am—3 pm. As we are rapidly expanding, additional shifts and hours will become available.
Experience is a must. Our ideal barista is people-oriented, positive, and believes the customer is always right even when they aren't. "Coffee is cold!" "We'd be happy to remake that for you!" "This isn't almond milk!" "We'd be happy to remake that for you!" We strive to balance keeping our customers happy and ensuring our team members are well cared for.
Expectations:
-Consistently and efficiently makes espresso beverages and drinks to the highest standards, maintaining an eye on quality, presentation, and efficiency for the best possible guest experience.
-Clean and tidy station at all times
-Friendly, outgoing, and personable

-Maintains a clean and tidy personal appearance; we require our team members to wear all black; beyond that, make it your own!
Minimum Requirements:
-Minimum of one year of barista experience
-Friendly, positive attitude
-Food Handler’s Permit
Our interview process includes a phone screen, interviews with three people, references, and background checks.
Our team members are 1099 contractors, paid on the second and fourth Friday of the month.
