Position Title: Project Manager Non-Tech 2

Location: Fully Remote

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: Contract of 12 Months

Job Type: Contract and Remote

Pay Range: $50 - $53/hr.

Years of Experience Required: 4+ overall years of experience in the field.

Degrees or certifications required: None, a degree is not required to be eligible for this role.

Minimum 3 years' experience with Writing & editing reports related to mis-/disinformation.

Minimum 3 years' experience with Experience in Political Issues spaces (such as working on a political campaign, elections office, a non-profit supporting elections integrity, political journalism/human rights spaces, think tanks, etc.)

Minimum 3 years' experience with Budget and Operational/Program Management support experience

Purpose of the Team: This team works to preserve, protect, and advance the fundamentals of democracy by promoting a healthy information ecosystem, safeguarding open and secure democratic processes and elections, and advocating for corporate civic responsibility. This work will support a nonpartisan team that coordinates support for organizations that underpin a free and open democracy, such as political campaigns, election authorities, think tanks, journalists, human rights organizations, and more.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

This individual will work closely with owners of key programs on elections, international projects, and corporate civic responsibility, with a focus on:

Operations:

Providing operational project support, including scheduling, note taking, processing purchase order requests, invoicing, and building and maintaining internal SharePoint sites.

Supporting 3rd party vendor and partner relationships to ensure that client project requirements are met.

Rhythm of business: support regular key performance indicator reviews, support pillar and project budget and rhythm of business,

Contributing to development and maintenance of internal reporting and communications processes.

Project Management:

Engaging with program/process owners, stakeholders and business partners as necessary to communicate project objectives, strategy, tactics, and ongoing progress.

Supporting development and implementation of strategic plans and projects within team pillars.

Helping to scale, evaluate, and expand existing programs; and,

Support international project portfolio, as well as elections and civic engagement projects.

Communications:

Developing and delivering written products and presentation materials that are used to communicate team positions, strategy, and thought leadership.

Developing and managing organizational assets including Walking decks, Team Polices & Procedures, Team web sites, SharePoint sites, and Teams channels; and,

Responding to internal and external stakeholder needs in a timely manner.

Skills

3-5 years of relevant experience in elections and/or civic engagement, disinformation, or public policy, ideally in an operational capacity.

Experience helping manage and oversee budgets and/or project planning.

Proven capabilities to drive positive business results through cross-group collaboration and partnerships.
