Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator in Redmond, Washington. This role involves managing various aspects of our logistics operations, including import/export, order processing, cost estimation, cargo and payment tracking, and vendor sourcing. Responsibilities: Manage daily communication with logistics vendors including shipping lines, forwarders, warehouses, truckers, customs brokers, and insurers Collaborate with overseas colleagues for order processing in ERP system and other departments for cost estimation, cargo tracking, payment tracking, and more Maintain an internal management file of ocean freight, trucking freight, warehouse cost Actively source new logistics vendors and collect vendor information Maintain a logistics vendor profile Utilize ERP Solutions for efficient management of logistics operations Work with IBM AS/400, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites for various tasks Provide excellent customer service and handle deliveries and documentation effectively Utilize problem-solving skills to address any logistics-related issues. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites is essential. Knowledge and practical experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions. Familiarity with IBM AS/400 and About Time software is advantageous. Outstanding customer service skills and ability to handle customer inquiries. Understanding of customs regulations and procedures. Proven ability to manage and coordinate deliveries effectively. Strong aptitude for handling and preparing documentation related to logistics and transportation. Prior experience in a logistics coordination role is preferred. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems. Able to handle confidential information with discretion. Openness to working flexible hours if required.
