Description An established company in Everett is in need of a reliable Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our busy accounting department. The successful candidate will serve as a vital team member and will be responsible for the processing, verification, and reconciliation of invoices. The ideal candidate must possess strong data entry skills and proficiency in various software applications, including Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and SAP.Responsibilities:
Verify, process, and reconcile payable invoices and expense reports.
Maintain up-to-date billing system and carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
Track and monitor accounts receivable, following up on outstanding balances when needed.
Perform daily financial transactions, including classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable/receivable data.
Perform check runs, verifying and posting receipts and transactions, and resolving and discrepancies or inaccuracies.
Assist in periodic audits, ensuring all required documentation is available for auditors.
Perform account reconciliations in a timely manner.
Maintain vendor and customer relationship.

Strong understanding and knowledge of accounts payable/receivable and general accounting procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and SAP.

Educational Requirements:The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.Experience Required:Proven experience serving as an accounts payable/receivable specialist or similar role.
