PROJECT MANAGER/ESTIMATOR

INDECO is a licensed and bonded general contractor in Ferndale, Washington, concentrating on design and fabrication of all metal types. We offer process engineering, contract manufacturing, CNC (abrasive water jet, milling, routing, and turning), certified welding, powder coating, fabrication, and assembly.

Our company is seeking to add a Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for assessing customer needs, creating project estimates, creating detailed production drawings, planning and placing material orders, scheduling projects, and performing quality inspections.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage all the necessary activities to successfully design and complete complex metal fabrication projects.

Create estimates that meet profitability goals and align with customer specifications.

Develop detailed design drawings and specifications.

Purchase required materials and components for projects under your management.

Communicate and cultivate relationships with staff, vendors, and customers.

Respond to and resolve problems as they arise.

FREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

2D design proficiency including AUTOCAD.

Ability to take measurements and create sketches and templates based on data.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Professional project management experience.

Knowledge of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum sizes, shapes, and applications.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Willingness to learn and develop as an individual and with the company.

Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements.

US citizenship or authorized to work in the US.

Negative pre-employment drug screening.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Engineering and design experience.

SolidWorks 3-D modeling experience.

Metal fabrication experience.

QuickBooks experience.

SCHEDULE

40 hours per week.

Overtime available during high volume seasons.

BODY POSITIONING & ENVIRONMENT

Full range of motion: standing, bending, kneeling, sitting, reaching.

Able to safely lift to 35 pounds.

Office environment with some metal fabrication shop exposure. May include dust, vibration, and loud noise.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$27.00 to $38.00 per hour.

6 paid holidays per year.
