Accounting Manager

Description We are offering a unique opportunity for an experienced Accounting Manager in the service industry to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. This role will be instrumental in managing accounting functions, including overseeing accounts payable, auditing, and intercompany accounts. This role also requires a strong understanding of accounting software systems such as SAP, and experience with SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley and internal control.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Maintain and process customer credit applications, ensuring all records are up-to-date Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary action to collect delinquent payments Utilize accounting software systems such as SAP to maintain and analyze financial records Manage and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment Ensure all accounting practices align with SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley regulations Implement and maintain effective internal control systems Regularly report to the controller, providing updates and insights into accounting operations Collaborate with other departments to improve overall company performance. Requirements Possession of a minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role or relevant accounting field. Expertise in various accounting software systems to ensure efficient financial operations. Proficiency in performing diverse accounting functions, including accounts payable. Demonstrated ability in auditing financial data and operations to ensure accuracy and compliance. Familiarity with SAP and its applications in the accounting field is crucial for this role. Experience in managing intercompany accounts and resolving any related issues. Proven track record in accounting management, demonstrating effective leadership and team management skills. Strong capability in management reporting, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely. Knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and its implications on the company's accounting practices. Experience in establishing and maintaining internal control systems to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
