A creative team leader is needed for our 3 man kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career with a highly-rated restaurant. OpenTable rated 4.8/4.7 out of 5.0. We are a small 65 seat establishment that specializes in California inspired cuisine with a Pan-Asian twist. Large party and banquet business is required.
We are a true team-(FOH and BOH) working together to ensure everything runs smoothly and our guests are treated to an exceptional dining experience. A great "teacher/commutator " in the kitchen, positive attitude, calm dementor, clean personal hygiene as well as the kitchen, great knife skills, Other experience might be needed is bulk food inventory, par levels, labor cost knowledge, and receipt fabrication is helpful.
Evening and weekend hours are required as we are open for Brunch on Saturday & Sunday, and Dinner Tuesday through Sunday. Required qualifications include experience working in casual fine dining, and 2-3 years of solid line cook experience. We are open for all holidays-(Thanksgiving, New Years Eve, Christmas Eve, Mothers Day, Easter, Fathers Day, the whole month of May for weddings, rehearsal dinners, and graduations of local colleges) This position/lead must have heavy sauté experience and be accustomed to a fast-paced environment. A current Serv-Safe/Manager certificate is also required (preferred, we will pay for half the cost to get you qualified in Virginia)
Pay based on experience and Full-Time or Part-Time hours are available for this positions.
