Bring your ideas to our important work.ICF is seeking an On-Call Editor to work variable hours supporting proposals and business development materials for our Enterprise Proposal Center.You will edit proposal materials on a wide variety of topics (e.g., cyber security, global health issues, communications, disaster response, program evaluation) and will be able to work quickly, accurately, and collaboratively to meet agreed-upon deadlines. Editing timelines can vary dramatically, so flexibility is essential in being able to work days, evenings, and/or weekends.Please note: You must provide your own computer with current Microsoft (MS) 365 software and an up-to-date operating system and virus protection to perform this work.What You Will Do:
Edit documents for consistency in style, voice, word usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and reference citation format.
Adhere closely to our house style and client style guidelines.
Provide excellent customer service, carefully follow assignment instructions, and meet deadlines.
What You Will Bring With You:
5+ years of experience in providing editing services (i.e., style, voice, word usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, reference citation).
Experience with MS 365.
What We’d Like You To Bring With You:
Bachelor’s degree.
Familiarity with various reference formats (e.g., APA).
Experience working with proposals to federal and state agencies.
Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and client-oriented environment.
