Are you a coffee enthusiast with a knack for connecting with people? Give & Take Coffee is seeking a part-time barista to join our tight-knit team at 410 W Main Street, Charlottesville, VA. We're on a mission to inspire connection and create unforgettable, positive experiences for our customers and community. If you share our passion for meticulously sourced, expertly prepared coffee and have a genuine desire to brighten people's days with your warm personality, we want you on our crew!
What We Offer:
- Competitive starting salary of $18/hour + tips (combined earnings of $23-$28/hour)

Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for coffee and eagerness to learn the ins and outs of professional preparation
- A warm, engaging personality and a talent for making every customer feel welcome and valued
- Previous barista experience is a significant plus, but not required for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations
- Availability to work 3 shifts per week, Monday through Saturday between 9 AM and 3 PM
Responsibilities:
- Crafting exceptional beverages according to Give & Take's high standards and recipes
- Engaging with customers to provide a friendly, personalized experience and share your coffee knowledge
- Maintaining a clean, inviting, and well-organized work environment
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive atmosphere
- Participating in ongoing training and development to continually improve your skills and knowledge
- Embodying Give & Take's mission, values, and commitment to community in all aspects of your work
- Assisting with occasional light lifting tasks, such as moving 5-gallon water jugs

- Physically capable of occasionally lifting and moving a 5-gallon water jug (approximately 40 pounds)
