ROOTS BUILDERS SITE SUPERINTENDENT / LEAD CARPENTER
Roots Builders is a Vermont custom home builder specializing in high performance new residential construction and renovations. We have many exciting projects scheduled and are currently hiring for Site Superintendents and Lead Carpenters. The ideal candidate is an extremely reliable, hardworking team player with a desire to learn and be challenged. This role requires the ability to collaborate with others with a high level of partnership and accountability, as well as a strong understanding of the construction process and the ability to lead the crew. A successful member of the Roots Builders team is kind, flexible, and dedicated to providing excellent service to our community.
This position serves as a reliable, accessible, and knowledgeable on site leader for the crew. Other responsibilities include regular meetings with the Project Manager regarding the project schedule, change orders, increases in project scope, and communicating these updates to the crew. This is a full-time position expected to work 40 hours per week. Previous work in the Construction Industry, including Site Supervision, Lead Carpentry and Custom Finish Detailing required, with Building Science and/or High-Performance Home Building Knowledge desirable.
