The Stowe Tennis Club is seeking a seasonal, part-time facilities and maintenance person from May to October. Responsibilities include clay court maintenance, weed care and light landscaping, basic swimming pool care, and light cleaning duties such as emptying trash and recycling and checking locker room supplies. Experience operating a utility cart, golf cart, leaf blower, weed whacker and other maintenance and landscaping equipment is a plus.
A strong work ethic, adaptability, and willingness to learn while enjoying the tennis environment will make for an ideal candidate.
The club is operational from Memorial Day through October. Students are welcome to apply for peak season employment from mid-June through mid-August, but our preference is for full season coverage. Approximate commitment is 15-20 hours a week, with some early morning shifts expected. Pay starts at $18/hour and ranges up to $25/hour based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include use of the facilities, Pro Shop discounts, and discounted tennis lessons.
Located at 1180 Barrows Road, the Stowe Tennis Club and its nine clay courts and swimming pool are tucked away in the beauty of the surrounding hills and fields. The private, not-for-profit club serves a close-knit and vibrant community, founded in 1954.
