The company's culture and core values focus on safety, integrity, teamwork and excellence.SUMMARYThe Security Analyst role involves critical responsibilities related to nuclear security scheduling and work coordination. Provides updates to Security management and acts as Security representative at on-line Work Control meetings, Outages, and Project Management meetings.EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in a Security field. (Preferred) Without a degree, 5 years of Nuclear Security experience or an Associate's degree in Nuclear Security field plus three years of security experience may be considered.EXPERIENCE 8 Years experience in the Nuclear Security industry (preferred) Without the above experience, a combination of 8 years Nuclear Security industry experience and other experience including Military or law enforcement experience may be considered.LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS Security Supervisor Qualification (Preferred) Security Alarm Station Operator Qualification (Preferred)ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates Security work with the Authorized Work Schedule and Emergent activities. Evaluates activities for Work Risk, Operational and Reactivity impact. Thorough knowledge of work hour controls defined in 10 CFR 26, Subpart I related to compliance with work hour control and fatigue rule requirements. Coordinates daily work activities and site outage activities with the Security Operations Supervisor and Security Shift Supervisors for resource scheduling. Assist supervision with work hour tracking tool operations including adjustments to the baseline schedules and creation of Emp Center Tool Reports. Using shift schedules for shift / crew work force, enters work time data into Emp Center for all shift personnel. Enters baseline schedules into the work hour tracking tool (Emp Center). Determines overtime restriction requirements to avoid work hour rules violations. Monitors scheduled site work activities for security impacts. Monitors and coordinate scheduling activities associated with the Safety and Security Interface program. Ensures 73.22 Protection of Safeguards Information is not exposed to work packages and scheduled activities. Ensures 73.58 Safety/Security interface requirements for nuclear power reactors are met. Coordinates planned and emergent activities (such as, but not limited to, physical modifications, procedural changes, changes to operator actions or security assignments, maintenance activities, system reconfiguration, access modification or restrictions, and changes to the security plan and its implementation). Maintains appropriate interface with all station work groups relative to work activities that could potentially impact the effectiveness of the Security Protective Strategy. Ensures timely communications are provided to Security Operations to support station work activities and also ensure the applicable compensatory measures are in place prior to the initiation of the impacting station activity(s). Ensures 73.55 requirements for physical protection of licensed activities in nuclear power reactors against radiological sabotage are met. Facilitates Security department’s challenge reviews under site Work Control Guidelines. Coordinates Security schedule changes IAW Work Control Guidelines and communicates changes to stakeholders. Participates in the Work Week Status meetings during their implementation week. Attends schedule development meetings. Interfaces with the schedulers to ensure schedule is accurate, timely, complete, and properly maintained. Performs the Security Risk Analysis to meet 10 CFR 73.55 requirements for the individual work weeks including categorizing individual activities. Supports the development of Work Activity Risk (WAR) plans for items requiring a WAR that are identified between T-5 and T-1 time frame. Communicates with stakeholders responsible for work requiring security support. Demonstrates strong knowledge of integrated plant systems and relationships. Support Work Control Initiatives, assessments, and benchmarking.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Accept ERO position as needed. Accept outage position as needed. Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access. Supports duty coverage as assigned.ENVIRONMENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Environmental and physical requirements require the ability to don appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the defined role; subject to crouching, stooping, bending, twisting and/or lifting up 30+ lbs; ascending/descending stairs; ascending, descending, traversing ladders, scaffolds, stairs; working in confined spaces; moving safely over uneven or slippery terrain; working in proximity to loud equipment and possible inclement weather/temperature conditions.WORKING CONDITIONS Overtime and alternate work schedules as needed. Subject to callouts twenty-four hours per day seven days per week. Carry duty pager or phone on a rotational basis.
