Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a job in the manufacturing industry, situated in San Antonio, Texas. The role is focused on accounts payable functions in a workplace setting. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Process invoices for payments in line with company policies Scan, index, and route incoming invoices using the electronic document management system Perform a 3-way match process with vendor invoices Review payment proposals for accuracy and work with Purchasing and vendors to resolve any invoice discrepancies Prepare checks and handle filing of backup paperwork Conduct vendor and payment research Assist employees with expense reports and audit these reports monthly Ensure all time schedules and month-end deadlines are met Maintain confidentiality by protecting the organization’s value and keeping information confidential Perform other duties as assigned Use skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Computer Data Entry, Data Entry - Numeric, SAP, Microsoft Excel, Purchase Orders.
