Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team within the fitness industry, primarily responsible for managing accounts payable and other clerical duties. Responsibilities: Ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time. Monitoring all vendor payment agreements. Entering invoices into the accounting system. Handling vendor questions and inquiries. Setting up new vendors in the system. Processing member refunds. Managing utility set up for new club additions. Using skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, and Sage Intacct to perform tasks efficiently. Working independently and as part of a team to navigate multi-location, multi-state vendors. This role is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and data entry within a dynamic and fast-paced industry. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Check Runs Ability to perform Coding Invoices Proficient in Data Entry Familiarity with Invoice Processing Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Experience with Sage Intacct software Excellent attention to detail Strong numerical and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of integrity and reliability Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively Prior experience in an Accounts Payable role is preferred.
