This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and General Manager, responsible for coordinating the activities of the lead mechanics and other maintenance department personnel in performing all facility maintenance and GSE fueling equipment repairs. Primary interface with the lead mechanics, line-shop mechanics, utility persons. Responsible for instructing maintenance personnel and monitoring their activities to ensure equipment and facility repaired are performed safely, properly in a timely manner. Enforce company policy and ensure all personnel are complying with ATA103, OSHA, FAA, Houston Airport Systems procedures, including environmental safety. Monitor to completion company and ATA103 documentation to file including various computer programs input and paper file. Shall have good Microsoft programs skills. Manage within the Company and Union rules.
Requirements:
Good general facilities and equipment mechanical knowledge. Aircraft refueling and fuel storage facility preferred.
3-5 years of supervisor/management experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to manage a diverse work force.
College preferred, but not required.
Bilingual a plus
