We are seeking a Safety Inspector - Maintenance to join our team. As a Safety Inspector - Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring that our Carrier company complies with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) rules and regulations related to vehicle maintenance. The ideal candidate should have experience with FMCSA rules and regulations related to maintenance, and must be able to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with FMCSA rules and regulations related to maintenance
Ensure that all maintenance and repair work is performed in accordance with FMCSA rules and regulations
Develop and deliver maintenance training programs to mechanics and technicians
Review maintenance and repair records to ensure accuracy and completeness
Investigate maintenance-related incidents and provide recommendations for corrective action
Communicate maintenance-related policies and procedures to all levels of the organization
Manage maintenance-related documentation and records
Requirements:
Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 1 year of experience in vehicle maintenance, preferably in the transportation industry
Knowledge of FMCSA rules and regulations related to maintenance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
