As a Senior Procurement Project Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in managing and executing procurement projects at a strategic level. You will be accountable for overseeing complex procurement projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and supplier diversity. Your expertise in procurement processes and project management will be essential in optimizing procurement practices, enhancing profitability, and securing a reliable and agile supply chain.You will report directly to our Procurement Manager and you will work out of our Atlanta GA location on a hybrid 3/2 work schedule after your first 90-days of employment. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the company's procurement function by driving successful project execution and contributing to the overall success of the organization.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and execute complex procurement projects from initiation to completion, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and delivery. Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the organization's goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and supplier diversity. Provide guidance and facilitate a team of procurement professionals, ensuring the successful execution of procurement projects. Monitor and control procurement costs, seek cost-saving opportunities, negotiate favorable terms, and optimize resource allocation. Foster and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure a reliable and attentive supply chain.
