Whether you prefer a US remote or hybrid work environment, we have a place for you!As a member of our Technical Advisory group, you will be responsible for coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, engaging with clients, and explaining complex technical concepts in a meaningful way which identifies important risks. This fast-paced role requires you to work under deadlines and understand technical concepts, while effectively communicating them to diverse audiences.Your responsibilities will also include delivering high-value technical diligence support and offering solutions to mitigate technical and commercial challenges encountered by our clients. You will have the opportunity to work across energy technologies and engage with clients and industry stakeholders, contributing to the evolving energy industry.The ideal candidate will have leadership responsibilities but no direct reports, serving as a Solar Deputy with the potential to move into a management track in the future. You will lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams on solar projects of all scales, coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources, and conduct subject matter expert reviews for PV solar projects. Apply now to join our growing team in the field of Independent Engineering and Owners Advisory, with a focus on solar photovoltaic developments.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering 2+ years of experience in solar project management, consulting, independent/owners engineering, technical due diligence, and risk assessment processes. A strong technical knowledge of solar resource and performance modeling (tool i.e., PVsyst, System Advisor Model) and understanding of project contracts including power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements, supply contracts, balance of plant construction contracts, and operations and maintenance contracts is required. Travel up to 10% within the continental United States. US Citizen or US Permanent Resident/Green card holder.Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering plus 4+ years of experience OR Master’s degree in engineering plus 2+ years of experience. Engineer in Training (EIT) or PE Experience in additional renewable technologies (outside of solar PV).
