Records Clerk

Description We are seeking a Credit Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. The primary function of this role is to process customer credit applications, maintain customer credit records, and manage customer credit inquiries in our telecom industry workplace. This role also includes monitoring customer credit accounts and taking the necessary steps to collect delinquent payments. Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally Monitor customer credit accounts regularly Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments Handle a high volume of phone calls and emails Assist in bookkeeping tasks and making deposits Perform manual filing and convert emails into PDF files Screen and transfer calls as necessary Utilize QuickBooks, Excel, and Word for various tasks.This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Skills in Commercial Collections, Electronic Records, Filing, Spanish Language, Phone Coverage, Inbound Telephone Calls, Basic Bookkeeping, and Bookkeeping are required. Requirements Proficiency in handling collections, particularly in a commercial setting Experience with electronic records management Skilled in filing and managing legal files Fluency in Spanish language is preferred Ability to handle phone coverage and manage inbound telephone calls Basic bookkeeping skills are essential Experience with commercial collections Familiarity with bookkeeping is a plus Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
